Davey Von Bohlen
Davey's musical career began when he joined Cap'n Jazz. Soon after Davey formed a side project The Promise Ring- an eventually the side project became a full-time band. The Promise Ring became a huge success in the indie/emo scene releasing numerous albums and comps- the band became iconic. Meanwhile Davey developed another side project with TPR drummer Dan Didier entitled Vermont. A much more stripped down sound Vermont put together a few albums but never saw the same success as TPR. Upon the demise of The Promise Ring - Davey and Dan again rejoined to form Maritime. Baring similar qualities that The Promise Ring had - Maritime is a more mature approach coming from members of a family instead of high school boys.
