| Members: Sam Zurick, Victor Villarreal, Eric Bocek, Scott Shelhammer
Sam Zurick and Eric Bocek left Joan of Arc - who's idea was that? Sam teamed up with old flame Victor Villarreal from Cap'n Jazz - who's idea was that? Eric and Scott Shelhammer were there too... and in 1999 a little Hefty 7" was released - Momento Mori. The following year the debut full length appeared - Precious Blood- with cute cartoons and song titles. Characterized by guitar abstractions with the energy of emo - possibly because of its link to Cap'n Jazz - possibly because it just is.... Victor Villarreal extends his genius guitar picking and plucking- Sam Zurick adds his own style and flare- the album is rounded up with Eric Bocek and Scott Shelhammer on bass and drums respectively. Both albums went out of print - and if you missed them the first time Six Gun Lover released a collection of their songs- in similar style to that Cap'n Jazz collection - entitled Addicts and Drunks in 2003 - long after the band broke up. The members have done things since Ghosts and Vodka - wether it be Owls, Make Believe, An Automotive, Joan of Arc... they haven't done anything together since... 2009 update: Ghosts and Vodka reunite long enough to record a new song for the upcoming Don't Mind Control compilation. Ghosts and Vodka disbanded again due to busy schedules.
