The Love of Everything formula of raw grown-up lyrics with childlike toy keyboard and nursery rhyme rhythms remains intact and this collection of songs works hard to develop the experimental themes presented in past releases. Fans will recognize many of these songs from his unforgettable live solo shows where he builds a wall of sound with simple instruments and a looping pedal until he finally starts singing, hushing audiences with the initial surprise of words after the lengthy process of creating the sound of a full band. Superior Mold and Die marks either the 3rd of 4th album since LOE's formation in the past four years, depending on how you count the numerous splits, home recordings and EPs released over that period.
