Vacations started after a much needed vacation each member took. Upon returning from their vacations- the members decided to band together as a vacation from their other projects. The band wanted to create a sound sans guitar. Coming close - their first album- I Was Bikini/But Rain Afraid was released on Record Label in 2009. The release bears its own uniqueness- limited to 500 on orange vinyl the 7" I Was Bikini- is five songs - the album included a download code to access But Rain Afraid - the first thirteen songs from Vacations.
