Members: Davey VonBohlen, Dan Didier, Chris Roseneau

Davey VonBohlen decides to take a break from all that rampant emo pop to sit in his living room with Dan Didier and Chris Roseneau for Vermont- a folkier emo pop with accoustic guitars with simple and honest lyrics - the perfect backing for Davey's soft meolodic vocals. The band debuted on a split 7" with Ida - a great pairing of sound - later the same year (1999) Living Together was released on Kindercore Records. In 2001 Vermont secretly released two albums- a split with Centro-Matic and a collaboration effort with Mark Mallman. The two releases were not widely known and many fans still have no idea of their existence. The band released their final album in 2002 entitled Calling Albany. Although they add more percussion and flesh out the songwriting, the trio seems to be a little more comfortable with their stripped-down approach. So much so that sometimes it seems that the lyrics were influenced by the blues more than rock. The future of the band is bleak- when asked Davey replied that the band was a less serious side project and there are no plans of any further releases.
