With the demise of Cap N' Jazz Victor continued making music under the name Ghosts and Vodka, producing a seven inch (Momento Mori) and full length LP (Precious Blood). It is said that all good things must come to an end and after the break up of Ghosts and Vodka an anthology (Addicts and Drunks) was released on Six Gun Lover in 2003.
In the summer of 2000 Victor joined with his old high school friends Tim, Sam, and Mike to work on a new project, Owls. Victor's guitar playing was like water trickleing down into your soul until the rivers in you flow to the sea in his hands. The potential of Owls would never be fully reached and Victor again disappeared into a void of mystery.
In 2003 Victor reappeared on the music charts with what may be his final attempt at music, Noyes. Throughout his musical endeavors, and life itself, Victor has battled his own vices that have kept him from reaching his music potential. There is a fine line between genius and insanity, and Victor's musical career bridged upon this. Victor's life today is of a mystery that his fans have desperately been seeking to know about. Its not only his whereabouts, but also any evidence that a reappearance will emerge with another glimpse into his musical genius. In the last few years rumors have spread about his whereabouts and his battle with drugs and the law. Sightings have been reported, yet many know little about what he is doing now, and maybe it is exactly how it should be. If we close our eyes for a while, Victor will happen to us again.
